Our first two years together (05-06):
2005:
1/2: Met on blind date (after e-mailing and too busy to meet since Nov. '04)
Nov.: Moved into S's suburban townhouse (gave up lakeside apt. in Lincoln Park, traded Vespa for Volvo, then celebrated S's 30th @ the Bellagio in Vegas)
12/28: Sold DH's townhouse and closed on our first home together in the burbs
2006:
1/2: Officially engaged (on 1st anni of 1st date)
9/16: Married in U.S. (long weekend honeymoon #1 @ The Abbey on Lake Geneva)
9/24: Me = 30!
11/10-11/12 Wedding in India (honeymoon #2 before and after in London and Rajasthan, India)
Dec. Stop taking BCP (after ~10 years, after sister E nearly dies from PE - believed to be brought on by BCP)
Our next two years - 07-08 (original plan was one, it's a long story...):
Focused on enjoying being married, traveling, finally getting Lasik, renovating our home, climbing the corporate ladder, S's professional certification (and associated classes), small business, and permanent residency, etc.
TTC History (the last two plus years...):
In short, five RE's (so far), three surgeries (including lap/scope combo), three failed IUIs (2 w/CC, 1 w/Follistim/P4/acu), one IVF = singleton pregnancy and spontaneous miscarriage in 9th week, one FET = pg #2. (also acupuncture, yoga, and herbs)
2008:
Last summer b4 baby: take tennis and sailing lessons (again...)
8/08: Preconception appt. for us both w/gyne @ annual visit (CF testing, etc. - cleared to go), boss's DH succumbs after five yr. battle w/brain cancer and she returns to relieve me at work.
10/08 Started TTC (I'm super regular, this should be easy, right? ;) )
11/08 Tried OPK
12/08 Started using CBEFM (bottom falls out at work, project cancelled, VPs fired)
2009:
1/09 Tested fertility at home w/Fertell test (FSH/OR and motility all normal)
4/09 First trip to RE (SA-"normal" = wrong!, me-uterine polyp & septum), turn down job in Boston, niece is dx w/craniosynostosis and has major surgery in July when sister announces third pregnancy in as many yrs.
5/09 Hysteroscopy to remove uterine polyp (outpatient, general), RE wouldn't touch septum (DH takes new job w/IF lifetime of $15K!)
6-9/09 Continued trying on our own
One year into TTC, we begin treatments...:
10/09 1st Clomid 50mg/Ovidrel/IUI cycle = BFN (AF on time (12dpO), no beta)

8/5 begin post-op meds... 3wks of 2.5mg of Premarin/E2, 1wk of Doxycycline, last wk of E2 add P4/Provera.
8/6 uterine balloon removed (and none too soon...), reaction to surgery/balloon
w/o 8/15 dx w/HSV while on vacation, g-ma dx w/terminal cancer :(
8/25 last day of post-op meds

7/26: 15w4d u/s: Looks like we are expecting a boy and a girl!!
7/31: 3D gender scan
8/19: 19w: Lose mucus plug, OB finds HBs and cervix is long and closed
8/25: Quad screen results: normal, anatomy scan @ 19w6d: babies look great, but cervix funneling and only 2.5cm=bedrest
8/26: 20w: first trip to maternity triage for pain, babies are fine, not contracting
8/29: 20w4d: MFM appt.: cervix is stable, start Crinone and twice weekly cervical checks
9/1: 21w: cervix up to 3.75cm and closed after week of bed rest and 3 days of P4, continue treatment
9/6: 21w5d: cervical regression and opening, emergent cerclage at 2cm dilation to prevent loss, begin weekly P17 shots/cervix checks, on total bed rest until babies arrive
12/16: Cerclage removed @ 36weeks
12/20: Babies are born @ 36w4d via emergency Ceasarean!!

Me: Pumping exclusively-12 months, Shingles @ 4 months, Carpal tunnel first six months
dx: a bunch of red herrings... "mild ovulatory dysfunction" (lowish E2 & low P4, though I'm super regular I consistently O ~CD 17 and have a 12d LP), very minor endo, a nearly complete uterine septum that has been resected/"removed" twice. DH: low morph 1-4% on 2nd/3rd SA (teratozoospermia), borderline/low motility on 1st/3rd SA (35-48%) (Asthenozoospermia), or as my latest RE calls us "unexplained" ???
What I take: Nature Made PNV w/DHA (back to Rainbow Light for IVF and pg), Omega 3-Fish Oil (1200mg), Cranberry extract (300mg)-for UTI prevention, Vit D (1000IU), sometimes baby aspirin (81mg), P4 supps (Crinone) in LP/2WW. DH on ConceptionXR for IVF.
